Let me break this down for you! I know clearly what I stand for, and what I stand against. Do you?
Stand against
- Quick fix business “strategy” – I am rolling my eyes while typing this!
- Scare tactics
- Cold DM selling
- £30k in 30 days, £100k in 10 months. Any version of this sh*t
- “The only way to make money is”
Too many of my clients arrive already feeling like a failure because they signed up to some get-rich-quick program and didn’t see the results. They didn’t get the help they needed and got shown a bunch of fake results from other people. And it makes me MAD.
Business is hard enough without these ridiculous sales tactics to make people spend money they don’t have on systems that don’t work.
And unfortunately it is on the rise!
Now I want to say that making £30k in 30 days is totally possible if – and it’s a big IF – you have your infrastructure and system in place.
But more importantly….
What do I stand for?
Well, the easiest thing to do would be to share my brand values!
I have 5 things that drive me in business, they help me decide who to work with, how to show up and what direction the business is moving in.
Honesty
Telling the truth even when it hurts. So many online salespeople don’t tell the truth in the work it takes to achieve results. This leaves people with unrealistic expectations. As I showed you above! And this really hits in my core values.
I like to create a relationship with my clients, suppliers, team, and outsourcers that is no-nonsense, where people know what is expected, how to achieve results, and feel comfortable enough to share. This helps my clients grow into the leaders they need to be to make sales online and make a living on their own terms.
Growth Mindset
Constantly looking for ways to develop and grow. I will only work with clients that are ready to put in the work and push the boundaries to get to the next level. It takes hard work to create a sustainable and scalable business foundation.
I need clients that are ready to grow, ready to challenge themselves and what they have learned before. A Growth Mindset also holds an idea of a positive outlook and focusing on what we are in control of so that we can move quickly from failure to failure in order to win.
Sustainability
Being able to look after our energy and world while we make a living. So rather than money being the only driver, I want my clients to build a business that suits their ideal lifestyle. That helps them achieve the bigger goals and means they don’t have to wait until retirement to do the things they love.
Being able to create a community of business owners that are conscious of the impact they have on the world and want to give back to charity is really close to my heart. This is how we save the beautiful world we live in.
Be Curious
Finding a way forward and solving a problem. In life and business, I truly believe that everything has an answer. Sometimes not the answer we want, but an answer nonetheless. So, when I work with clients, I also try to engage this part of the brain, helping them become the true business owners in their business and the leader of their lives. By changing the mindset to help them always look for the answer, either within or external to them.
This is such an important skill to have in life and business because it means we become the leaders of your life and are empowered! This is exactly how my clients feel after going through my business strategy school.
And my favourite of them all
Permission free living
Being able to stand on your own two feet, making your own decisions without having to get permission from anyone. This is the true freedom that my clients crave. Not just having money in the bank, but having a balance of money, time, and energy to live a truly magical life.
What do you stand for?
I was told as a kid that either you stand for something or you just go with everything. Well, I have never been a good one to just go with the flow. So I made sure I was clear on my values, in life, in my career, and then when I started my business.
I show my clients this way of being during my program. I really believe that having strong values helps you have strong boundaries and create the life you want to live.
So here is some journal prompts for finding out what you stand for:
- What is something you think the worlds needs more of?
- What is important to you?
- How would your close friends and family describe you (ask them for 3 words)
- What winds you up that people do or don’t do?
- How do you want to be remembered?
Grab a piece of paper and write down your answers – I would also love you to share them with me (drop me an email)
