You know you need one…. but you aren’t sure where to start?
Your plan is written but you have no idea how to move forward and make it happen?
You are worried about it being too big, people not believing in you, you’re not believing in yourself!
I hear all sorts of worries from clients about strategy and how to build a good one. And when it comes to being a small business owner strategy is super important. It can make or break your business. A good strategy will help you to enjoy what you do. Where equally a bad strategy will cause burnout in a few short years.
I hear many people saying; business is hard, earning money is difficult, customers don’t have money to spend, running a business is really time-consuming, etc. But I want to tell you that if you have the right strategy in place – well all of these things can be a thing of the past.
Now, I’m not saying that a well-written plan will change your business overnight – cause we all know that isn’t possible. But what I am saying is that you can have a plan to make your business more sustainable in 18 months to 3 years. So that your hard work now, can pay back in time and income in the future. Rather than you needing to working as hard or harder every year you are in business.
All this week I am going to be sharing top tips videos and posts on my social media to give you of a bunch of different perspectives on strategy. The first thing I want to share is this 60 Second Learning video. It covers the 3 key strategies for business success. Another video will be coming out tomorrow on how to create a good strategy.
Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel while watching to make sure you don’t miss the next instalment!
YouTube Video – 60 Second Learning
So in the video we look at the 3 key strategy points:
- Knowing Your Why
- Finding Your Who
- Be clear on Your What
By aligning your strategy with your overall purpose, you will have a much higher chance of success. Because building habits will be easier as you will have more internal motivation. And that counts for a lot in the days when things get tough. And that will still happen.
Building a solid business will include a few key aspects. Most important is the ability to consistently show up even during tough times. With the number of pop up businesses and get rich quick schemes, customers are getting more concerned about spending money without having a relationship. So you have 2 choices:
- Create something so cheap that people don’t mind losing it
- Create a high-ticket program and work to build a system that builds trust with your clients
Now I personally know which one I would rather do. But honestly, it is up to you if you want to go for massive volume at a low price or quality leads at a higher price. However, each strategy involves you understanding your Who (customer avatar) and What (product offer) in a lot of detail.
Now as I said over the next 10 weeks I am going to be covering different themes each week. Diving into business in more detail. So if you haven’t signed up for the mailing list yet – make sure you do.
In the weekly mailer I cover the weekly theme in more detail, give to access to all the best content for the week and make sure you are in the best place to start to move your business forward. I will also be sharing early access to the new 7 secretes to business success eBook this week – so be sure to get signed up before Thursday!
