Do you dream of working less, having more flexibility, being one of the “lucky” few that don’t have to take contracts you hate with clients that drive you up the wall!
I hear you!
But unfortunately, those things won’t change unless you change your business model.
I want you to really think about this – what life do you want to create? What would a great day look like from a work point of view?
Did you start you own business to have more flexibility, to be more healthy, to have more time, to travel more, to be more present, to earn more?
Has that come true?
So many people take the leap and then create the same old life they had before with the stress of being all the departments and doing all the jobs.
I remember saying things like – “Well at least I am doing it for me now.” But I was missing the point! Some of the ideas that we believe are that hard work pays off – but in reality, we all know people that work really hard but don’t have financial freedom. Heck, you might be one of them!
It is so important to build a system that helps you truly achieve the life you want to live. Not a business that other people expect.
Yesterday I delivered 2 training sessions (930 – 1230 and then 1230 – 2 pm) one was for an old corporate client that I am finishing a contract with. The second was for my Blueprint to Business Success group all about their sales pages. When I finished, I took a long walk to the beach, listen to my audio book and ate an ice cream (at 2 pm on a Tuesday) – How many of you instantly thought – WHAT!
When you are open with what you are trying to create, you are more likely to succeed and you will be able to create a plan to suits it.
Now if you want a flexible business that allows you to take downtime, enjoy your life, maybe go on adventures, etc – then I have a plan you for.
There are 7 core containers to create in order to build a business that is scalable without taking masses of your time in the long run (it will take time and effort to set up though)
- Lead Magnet – Something of value that your ideal customer will want to get their hands on
- Lead Capture Page – A page linked to your CRM that gets an email address in exchange for the lead magnet
- Thank you Page – A web page set up on your website that thanks people for downloading the lead magnet – two reasons to have this – It gets potential clients to your website and it can be used in the future for Facebook re-targeting (but that is for another day)
- The first Mailer Sequence – Helping people get to know, like and trust you after getting your lead magnet
- The second Mailer Sequence – Making an offer for a product or service that nicely leads on from your lead magnet
- A Sales Page – a web page on your own website that has the sole purpose of someone buying from you. It needs to give them all the information that is required to make a purchase.
- The Sales Thank you page – Thanks customers for purchasing and tells them the next steps on the journey – this instils confidence in the purchase and again can be used for future re-targeting.
In understanding these 7 containers you can successfully build a business that doesn’t take the money = time approach.
By building your own value ladder and understanding the true why of your business you will have more success and be more aligned.
